Breitling 806 Navitimer

 The name is a combination of the words Navigation & Timer, since the watch was originally developed as a navigation watch for pilots, who could use the sliderule to calculate remaining distances, fuel consumption etc. The Navitimer seriously put Breitling on the world map. It’s until today the most famous watch they ever produced and it’s unlikely that it will ever be surpassed. Generally it can be said that the Navitimer with 3 Subdials was made in four editions/generations cased in a small watchcase.
The Breitling for sale with serial number 1223594 was manufactured in 1968,the Case,Dial,Hands and Movement are in very good condition.The dial is excellent for its age,the luminous markers have patina and are no longer luminous.The Dial and Slide Rule are matching as can be seen with Red 60 on the slide rule and the Red box around the 10 on the dial.
The movement is the manual wound Calibre Venus 178,as you can see from the photos the movement is in excellent condition and has been serviced in our workshop,all the chronograph functions/pushers work well  and timekeeping is within 12 seconds a day.
The case is free of dents and scratches and comes ready to wear on a leather strap with pin buckle
