Rolex Red Submariner ref 1680 (1970)

This Rolex Red Submariner ref 1680 was manufactured in 1970, making this watch 40+ years old.

Introduced in 1967 the ref 1680 was manufactured with Submariner printed in a rich red until 1973 then the dial was replaced by the "white" text submariner. This Red Submariner dial is in beautiful condition with deep yellow luminous markers which perfectly match the hands and lume dot Signed SWISS-T<25.

The movement is the automatic or perpetual chronometer Calibre 1570 or more accurately 1575 because of the date mechanism. The movement has been serviced in our workshop and comes with a 2 year guarantee.
