Vintage Rolex Datejust 18CT/SS ref 1601 (Punched papers) (1974)

 Vintage Rolex Datejust ref:1601. This Rolex model 1601 was manufactured in 1974 and comes complete with its original punched Rolex papers.

This 30+ year old watch is in a very good condition as you can see from the photos, the stainless steel case has no dents or scratches. The silver Dial is in excellent condition free of any blemishes and it certainly stands out from the rest. These 60's-70's datejusts have unique dials where they angle down along the edge, this type of dial is no longer made and deemed obsolete,they are commonly known as a "Pie Pan Dial". The Bezel on this Rolex is 18CT white gold. The movement is the automatic or perpetual chronometer Calibre 1570 or more accurately 1575 because of the date mechanism. The movement has been serviced in our workshop and comes with a 2year guarantee. The case unfortunately due to age is no longer guaranteed water-resistant. The watch comes ready to wear on a stainless steel Rolex jubilee bracelet.
